Hello Tanya,

I really would like to thank you and the sponsors or the "Knit for Life™" group at SCCA for this program. I learned to knit from all of the volunteers of this group. Knitting before, during and after our son's hospitalization gave me peace and strength to go through the ordeal of the treatment. You and all the volunteers at the "Knit for Life™" group were extremely helpful and cheerful. In addition to the knitting instructions, all of your companionship made my knitting an enjoyable experience. The availability of wool made it very easy and hassle free to knit. Otherwise, going somewhere to buy the wool during that time would definitely put a hold on doing the knitting projects.

Our son, knock on wood, is recovering and doing well. I have continued to knit after coming home. I still find it soothing in the turmoil of the hectic life.

Thank you, the volunteers and "Knit for Life™" program.

Sincerely,

Shaila Gupte
